Ready, Set, Sell! The Competition to Earn a Trip to Switzerland Has Begun

In the fall, grand prize trip winners of the Rome Agent/Broker Travel Incentive will gain exclusive access to parts of the Eternal City that most visitors don’t get the chance to see.

If you let that travel opportunity pass you by, it would be a wise move to start putting your business plan into action now to make sure you earn a trip with your top-performing peers to our next travel incentive destination in 2025: Lausanne, Switzerland.

Billed as Splendor on the Shores of Lake Geneva, our fall 2025 excursion to Lausanne, Switzerland, from September 28–October 2, 2025, promises to be nothing short of spectacular for grand prize qualifiers of the 2024–2025 Agent/Broker Travel Incentive.

Lausanne is a magical city that is as chic as the French Riviera, minus the pretention. With its prime location on the northern shore of Lake Geneva, its views of the French Alps are often said to surpass those the French have of the Swiss shore. And Lausanne has one of the most exquisite palace hotels in all of Europe, the Beau-Rivage Palace Hotel—which is where we’ll be putting up our grand prize trip winners for a luxury stay in the “best small city in the world.”

Hosting guests for over 160 years, the Belle Époque hotel is steeped in rich culture and history. Located on 10 beautiful acres of impeccably kept gardens, the architecture and interiors of the Beau-Rivage exude magnificence, and the property added the fitting title “Palace” to its name after the second connecting building opened in 1908. It was within the walls of the Beau-Rivage Palace where both the signing of Czechoslovakia’s independence in 1918 occurred as well as the signing of the peace treaty that broke up the Ottoman Empire in 1923.

Having perfected the art of sophisticated hospitality and service, Switzerland’s finest palace hotel has served as a temporary home for countless mega-name guests throughout the years. From Charlie Chaplin to Nelson Mandela, there is even a ground-floor Wall of Fame boasting tasteful black and white photos and messages from the royalty, VIPs, and celebrities who have stayed there.

The Beau-Rivage Palace boasts 168 rooms and suites, many of which offer impressive views of the lake and city surrounding it. Their signature suites were each created to be a unique pied-à-terre with a small balcony and open areas that are bathed in light. After a $30 million makeover from 2012 to 2014, all rooms are equipped with the latest technologies, giving a modern feel to the classic, ornate décor.

There are two bars and four restaurants on the property, including the extraordinary Anne-Sophie Pic, which has two Michelin stars. The head sommelier Edmond Gasser was even awarded “Sommelier of the Year” 2020 by Gault & Millau.

There is also a state-of-the-art spa that provides a wide selection of restorative treatments. From the entrance, the spa opens up onto a 10-acre park and has separate saunas for men and women, a jacuzzi, a fitness center, indoor and outdoor heated pools, and even a sand beach.

The Beau-Rivage Palace is characterized by luxury, historic savoir-faire, and a top level of excellence that sets it apart from any other five-star hotel in Switzerland. It lays claim to one of the most gorgeous positions in the country and is in close proximity to the heart of the wonderful small city Lausanne.

Grand prize qualifiers of the 2024–2025 Agent/Broker Travel Incentive are sure to have an unforgettable experience in Lausanne, Switzerland. This is a trip you don’t want to miss!
