Foundation Activity: 2023 Updates

The Doctors Company Foundation works to support patient safety research, education, and training. As the Foundation begins its 2023 grant cycle, here are updates on recent activities:

  • Earlier this year, the Foundation launched its redesigned website. Enhancements include easier navigation, improved user experience and functionality, and more comprehensive guidance for grant applicants.
  • When the application deadline for the 2023 grant cycle passed in March, the Foundation had received more than 90 Letters of Intent. This is nearly double the number received in 2022, and it is the highest number of submissions received since the Foundation implemented a two-step application process. The Foundation’s Grant Review Committee will now evaluate the submissions and undertake the difficult task of selecting only a limited number of projects to move forward through the grantmaking process. The Foundation’s Board of Directors will make final funding decisions during its August meeting.

We invite you to explore the Foundation's redesigned website and learn more about our grantmaking process, recent grants, and leadership.
