In the Medical Board Hot Seat!
Have you ever wondered what it would feel like to face a Medical Board attorney as you defend your medical care and practice following a patient complaint? Hopefully, you will never be in this situation. Complaints to the Medical Board have escalated as patients retaliate when they are not happy with their physician or the office staff. Physicians are more likely to receive a complaint from the Medical Board than to have a malpractice claim filed by a patient. Attend this program to learn important insights from simulation of a Medical Board hearing. This session will look at the most frequent types of Medical Board complaints as attorneys represent the Medical Board and the physician in a simulation for Medical Board actions. Please join us for dinner and an informative last CME program of 2023 at the Orange County Medical Association office in Newport Beach.
