OB Patient Safety Credit Program

We are proud to offer the OB Patient Safety Credit Program, our voluntary program that is open to all qualifying member obstetricians, family practitioners providing obstetrical care, and certified nurse midwives (CNMs) who are actively involved in deliveries.

On-demand courses for Phases One, Two, and Four are available through our partnership with The Sullivan Group, a leading provider of patient safety, risk management, and performance improvement solutions for healthcare professionals.

Phase Three, which is available through two credentialing organizations, rewards physicians and their CNMs who earn certification in electronic fetal monitoring.

The first phase of the program is built around courses addressing the most common types of obstetrical claims. Qualifying members who meet all of the requirements will receive a patient safety credit of up to 10 percent applied to their next two policy renewal periods and six hours of continuing medical education (CME) credit.
