Qualifiers of Our Lake Como Travel Incentive Will Have a Dream Escape to One of Italy’s Grandest Hotels
We just wrapped up the 2025–2026 Agent/Broker Travel Incentive and have finalized the list of qualifying agents and brokers who will join us on our luxurious odyssey through Athens, Greece, in September.
Even though that ship has sailed, our 2026–2027 Agent/Broker Travel Incentive just began on July 1, giving you a fresh opportunity to earn a trip to our next destination—Lake Como, Italy—in the fall of next year. There are new eligibility requirements for our Lake Como travel incentive, so be sure to review them carefully and adjust your sales targets accordingly, because qualifiers will have the time of their lives with an incredible four-night stay at the world-renowned Villa d’Este.
Originally designed by Italian architect and painter Pellegrino Tibaldi in 1568 as a summer home for Cardinal Tolomeo Gallio, Villa d’Este has been a fan favorite of many A-list celebrities in more recent years. Elizabeth Taylor, Bono, Jennifer Aniston, Bruce Springsteen, Lady Gaga, and the unofficial king of Lake Como, George Clooney, have all been spotted as visitors of the sprawling lakefront property. Alfred Hitchcock shot his first feature film The Pleasure Garden on the grounds. And there will even be an intimate Sting concert for hotel guests in its monumental 25-acre gardens in August.
Those facts alone should tell you this place is special, and we haven’t even scratched the surface with details of the hotel itself.
Perhaps one of the most eye-popping details about Villa d’Este is its floating pool, which sits on a platform in the lake, creating a surreal view of Lake Como as if you are swimming in it—except with heated water. The pool is the first of its kind on the lake, showcasing an avant-garde structure that harmonizes seamlessly with the surrounding scenery.

This hotel also boasts eight tennis courts, a putting green, shaded running trails, and options for waterskiing, kayaking, canoeing, stand-up paddle boarding, windsurfing, and sailing, with eight boats available at the docks. There’s even a heli-pad within the grounds too.
If outdoor activities aren’t your preference, no need to worry: Villa d’Este has an indoor pool as well, along with a plethora of other activities to choose from. At the Sporting Club, there’s a fitness gym, male and female steam rooms and saunas, a squash court, and even a golf simulator. An underground passageway leads to the hotel’s Beauty Centre, where guests can receive face and body spa treatments and manicures and pedicures.
The interior of Villa d’Este exudes timeless elegance, exhibiting Murano chandeliers, marble columns, and grand staircases that lead to rooms and suites divided between the Cardinal Building and the Queen’s Pavilion. Each of the hotel’s 151 rooms are unique, complete with Renaissance-style furniture, antiques, sumptuous silk drapes, and pristine marble bathrooms, but all with modern comforts that will put guests at ease.
There are four restaurants on the property. La Veranda, the hotel’s main restaurant, serves Italian and international fine-dining cuisine in an elegant lakefront setting. Then you have the more informal Grill for fish and meat lovers. Il Platano’s main focus is on fine wine, and carefully curated dishes are paired exquisitely with vintages. In the summertime, light appetizers and drinks can be enjoyed poolside at Sundeck with panoramic views of Lake Como’s stunning beauty.
The staff at Villa d’Este are another highlight of the guest experience. During the high season, the hotel actually holds a 1:1 staff-to-guest ratio. Many staff members have worked there for decades, and guests will easily notice a strong bond amongst the team. Receptionists and waiters provide a friendly and professional service that always appears genuine and sincere and will leave you feeling like royalty. The service never seems forced or overly formal—just natural, gracious hospitality at its finest.
As for its location on Lake Como, Villa d’Este is right on the banks of the lake and within a short walk to the town center of Cernobbio. A lot of Lake Como hotels aren’t as close to the water as they may appear, but Villa d’Este is mere steps from the shoreline.
Inside and out, Villa d’Este is the epitome of Italian luxury, which is why we’ve given this travel incentive the appropriate slogan: La Dolce Vita Awaits: Experience the Extraordinary. Don’t hesitate to come up with a game plan to exceed your sales goals over the next 11 months and snag yourself a spot on our trip to this marvelous five-star property on such a breathtaking lake. It just may be our most memorable trip yet.
Ciao bella!
