• SB 68 Civil Liability: This is a comprehensive tort package that includes an anti-anchoring provision, trial bifurcation, truth in damages, and venue changes. TDC Group is working with a broad coalition to support the enactment of these changes. This bill passed the Senate with a relatively minor change and is working its way through the House.
• SB 69 Civil Liability: This bill addresses issues with third-party litigation funding (TPLF). TDC Group is working with the same tort coalition to support this bill. This bill has passed the Senate without change.
