The Doctors Company will provide first-class air travel (or its equivalent) for you and your guest, using the most direct route available to and from your home and the ATH airport.

If you wish to alter your travel plans to include a stay in Paris, for example, you will be responsible for any additional airline and other costs incurred.

Airport Transfers

Airport transfers will be provided by Optimum Greece. Their team will have a copy of your travel itinerary and will monitor any changes to your arrival and departure times.

Upon arrival, please proceed to the arrivals area and look for a uniformed Optimum Greece representative holding a sign with The Doctors Company logo.

All scheduled transportation costs, including gratuity, will be covered by The Doctors Company.

We will provide Optimum Greece with your mobile phone number and email address, so they are able to communicate directly with you.

One&Only Aesthesis

The One&Only Aesthesis is located along the coast of Southern Athens, within a protected forest reserve and approximately 30 minutes from the city center.

The hotel is within walking distance of Glyfada, a vibrant suburb often considered the unofficial capital of the Athens Riviera. Glyfada is known for its beaches, upscale shopping, dining, and lively nightlife.

One&Only Aesthesis
Standard check-in begins at 3:00 PM. Upon arrival, you will be asked to present a personal credit card for incidentals and any expenses not included in the incentive program. Please see Program Inclusions and Personal Expenses.
For early arrivals, the hotel will store your luggage and may provide a courtesy room for guests to freshen up, based on availability.
Midday: Welcome to Athens, Greece! The day is yours to explore the hotel and surrounding area.

Build your day! Start your morning with an optional visit to the top of the Acropolis. Lake Vouliagmeni located five minutes away from the hotel. This hidden gem of the Athenian Riviera is nestled in the heart of Greece. Lake Vouliagmeni is a premier natural thermal spa and geological wonder and has been declared a natural monument by the Greek State. We will gather for a private dinner lake side amidst natural beauty and stunning backdrop under the Greek sun.

The Acropolis Museum
Founded in 2003 and opened to the public in 2009, the Acropolis Museum is an archaeological museum dedicated to the findings from the Acropolis of Athens. The museum exhibits more than 4,250 objects and is built over the ruins of Roman and early Byzantine Athens.
We will tour the museum, followed by an outdoor rooftop dinner with stunning views of the Acropolis.
Attire: Mediterranean cocktail attire. Comfortable shoes are recommended for walking through the museum.

MANKO
Located at the water’s edge of the One&Only Aesthesis, MANKO is a vibrant restaurant and bar that brings the bold flavors of Peru to a chic coastal setting.
Where Peruvian flair meets Athenian sophistication, MANKO offers a culinary journey where tradition meets celebration, complemented by bold, Peruvian-inspired cocktails for an unforgettable dining experience.
Attire: Cocktail attire. Please note that you should wear comfortable shoes for walking to the reception and MANKO restaurant.

Island Resort Athens Riviera
Located just 10 minutes from the One&Only Aesthesis, Island Resort Athens Riviera is a luxurious private estate set along the Athens Riviera.
With a traditional garden ambience right on the water, the estate offers striking views across the sea toward ancient Sounion. We will enjoy a buffet dinner and cocktails in this scenic enclave as we celebrate our final evening under the stars.

Panoramic City Tour of the Acropolis and Plaka (3 hours)
Enjoy a guided tour of the Acropolis of Athens and the surrounding Plaka neighborhood.
Set on a rocky outcrop above the city, the Acropolis is an ancient citadel and one of the most significant architectural and historical landmarks in Greece. It is home to the remains of several remarkable ancient structures, including the iconic Parthenon.
The Acropolis remains one of the most striking and complete ancient Greek monumental complexes still standing today.


Lalaounis Jewelry Museum (2 hours)
The Ilias Lalaounis Jewelry Museum is the first museum in Greece devoted to the art of jewelry and one of only three museums of its kind in the world. Certified as a nonprofit cultural organization by the Greek Ministries of Finance and Culture in 1993, the museum opened to the public in December 1994.
Today, the museum serves as an international center for jewelry and decorative arts, with a focus on silver and goldsmithing, as well as contemporary studio jewelry. Its permanent collection includes more than 4,000 pieces of jewelry and micro-sculptures from over 50 collections designed by the museum’s founder, Ilias Lalaounis, between 1940 and 2000. The collection is further enriched by donations of jewelry and decorative arts from around the world.
Guests will be welcomed by Mrs. Lalaounis, one of Mr. Lalaounis’ daughters, before enjoying a guided tour and hands-on metalsmithing workshop.

Mixology Masterclass (2 hours)
Enjoy a mixology masterclass at one of Athens’ top bars.
Step into the role of a mixologist and unleash your creativity as you craft unique cocktails using a variety of spirits, mixers, and garnishes. Guided by an expert mixologist, you will learn modern and molecular techniques to create the perfect drink.

Saronic Islands Cruise (9 hours)
Spend the day traveling by yacht to two beautiful Greek islands, Hydra and Aegina.
Our first stop is Hydra, a unique car-free island known for its tranquil 18th-century atmosphere, where transportation is by donkey, mule, and water taxi. Guests will have a guided tour of Hydra, followed by lunch at Sunset Restaurant.
After lunch, we will continue to Aegina, an island known for its world-renowned pistachios, the ancient Temple of Aphaia, and the neoclassical architecture of Aegina Town. Guests will enjoy a pistachio tasting, along with free time to shop and explore Aegina’s scenic waterfront.

Greek Cooking Class (3 hours)
Enjoy a hands-on cooking class led by master chefs.
You will learn to prepare traditional Greek favorites, including tzatziki, keftedes, and classic Greek focaccia. After creating a guided Greek menu, you will sit down and enjoy the delicious results of your work.

Flavors of Athens Walking Tour (4 hours)
Enjoy a sensory tour through Greek gastronomy and culture.
During this guided four-hour walking tour of Athens, you will experience the flavors of ancient and modern Greece while discovering the rituals and traditions behind Greek cuisine. Along the way, you will gain insight into local cooking methods, recipes, and culinary customs.
The tour will include visits to dedicated artisans who have perfected their recipes over decades, specialty food shops sourcing exceptional products from across Greece, and the city’s vibrant central food market.
This experience offers an authentic taste of Athens and some of the best Greek delicacies the city has to offer.

Golf at Glyfada Golf Course (4 hours)
The Glyfada Golf Course “Konstantinos Karamanlis” is an 18-hole, par-72 course located along the Athens Riviera. Designed by Donald Harradine and built in 1962, the course was later remodeled by renowned American golf architect Robert Trent Jones Sr. for the 27th World Cup in 1979.
In 1991, Glyfada Golf Course hosted the golf events of the XI Mediterranean Games and has also welcomed the PGA European Seniors Tour in past years.

Classic Cars Tour to Cape Sounion (4 hours)
Enjoy a scenic tour of Cape Sounion in a classic vintage car.

Trip Essentials

Your trip includes first-class air travel, or equivalent, for you and one guest to and from your home airport; four nights of accommodations at the One&Only Aesthesis in a single room with double occupancy; meals as outlined in the itinerary; company-sponsored optional activities; luggage handling; transfers; and gratuities associated with these events.

Attendance at the mandatory business meeting on Wednesday morning is required to help avoid the possibility of taxes being incurred on the cost of the trip.

The Doctors Company will furnish ample gratuities to all parties for all included program activities.

Personal Expenses

You are responsible for any additional personal charges incurred during your stay. These may include, but are not limited to, in-room movies, laundry service, poolside food and beverage service, meals not included in the itinerary, minibar charges, personal beverage bills, gift shop purchases, and shipping costs.

The Doctors Company will not cover shipping costs for gifts provided by The Doctors Company or for items personally purchased during your stay in Athens.

The hotel will maintain a separate account for these expenses. Please settle any outstanding balance at the hotel front desk prior to departure.

Passport

You will need a valid passport for this trip. Your passport must be valid for at least six months beyond your planned date of departure from Greece. (Two pages are required for entry stamp.)

What to Pack

Greece uses Type C and Type F electrical outlets with a standard voltage of 230V and frequency of 50Hz.

Travelers from the United States, the United Kingdom, and other regions will need a Type C/F plug adapter. A voltage converter may also be required for devices that are not dual-voltage.

Most outlets accommodate two round pins, with Type F outlets also supporting grounded plugs.

In September, average temperatures typically range from a high of approximately 84°F to a low of 64°F.

Time Zone

Athens, Greece, is in the Eastern European Summer Time zone. During this period, Athens is 7 hours ahead of New York and 10 hours ahead of California. Greece observes daylight saving time through the end of October.
