Wall Street Journal Reports on Malpractice Closed Claims Studies

The Doctors Company has conducted over 40 studies of more than 10,000 closed claims in various specialties, and insights from these important studies have helped doctors nationwide improve patient care and avoid liability risks. The Wall Street Journal recently profiled several member doctors who have used our studies to make quality and safety improvements in their practices, including improving post-op communication, implementing a new wound closure protocol, and better identifying mothers at risk for shoulder dystocia.
