As executive vice president and sales manager of Willis of Ohio, Inc.’s professional liability department, Charlie handles malpractice coverage for physicians and attorneys as well as executive risk, office property, and other liability exposures. Charlie also serves as Willis North America’s national physician practice leader, partnering with Willis brokers across the country to place coverage for solo physicians and physician groups.
Charlie began his insurance career in 1979, establishing a disability brokerage office in Columbus, Ohio, specializing in individual disability insurance for physicians. After joining Willis in 1992, Charlie oversaw development of the Physicians Insurance Center, which provides full-service business and personal insurance coverage for physicians. Charlie is a 2012 Power Broker finalist nominated by Risk & Insurance magazine.
Charlie’s 30-plus years of physician liability experience give him a deep understanding of the insurance needs of today’s physicians and their practices.
