Future of Health Care Survey, Tribute Plan, Social Media Campaign Garner Top Honors

Napa, California—August 7, 2013—The Doctors Company, the nation’s largest physician-owned medical malpractice insurer, has been honored by the Insurance Marketing and Communications Association (IMCA) for its outstanding efforts to inform members about the future of health care, breakthrough member benefits, and major trends affecting medical practices.

The company was recognized with top honors for its commitment to inform physicians about emerging industry challenges through its Future of Health Care survey program. In this campaign, the company surveyed its members nationwide and informed physicians of the profession’s shared sentiments as the U.S. enters a new phase of health care practice.

The company also earned a Best in Show award for its social media thought leadership series, where it tapped top national experts to provide members with valuable insights on major trends affecting medical practices.

The Doctors Company also was awarded for its campaign to mark the five-year anniversary of the Tribute® Plan. The campaign let members know about the increased membership and loyalty from Tribute and again provided tangible proof that they are members, not just insureds.

The 55th annual IMCA Showcase Awards were announced recently in Philadelphia during the IMCA annual conference.
