Napa, California—January 22, 2013—The Doctors Company, the nation’s largest medical malpractice insurer, announced today its latest video featuring an industry expert on health care reform. The video, “Health Care Reform Being Driven by Three Initiatives,” discusses the key drivers, or “triple aim initiatives,” of health care reform initiated by payers: better care for patients, better health for populations, and lowering the cost of care.
The video features Laura P. Jacobs, MPH, executive vice president of The Camden Group, a leading national health care business advisory firm. Jacobs was a featured speaker at The Doctors Company’s 2012 Executive Advisory Board meeting, which brought together 70 experts on health care reform.
“The Doctors Company is committed to facilitating the dialogue around key components of health care reform,” said Stacy Schultz, vice president of marketing for The Doctors Company. “A key component of this vision is bringing a wide range of expert perspectives to our members.”
