Fifth Video in Series Discusses Checklist for ACO Readiness
Napa, California—October 23, 2012—The Doctors Company, the nation’s largest medical malpractice insurer, announced today the fifth video in its Executive Advisory Board Speaker Series. This latest video in the eight-video series on YouTube includes a capabilities assessment that physicians should complete prior to joining an ACO.
The video, “ACO Readiness Checklist: Patient Registry and Care Plans,” features Robert J. Jackson, MD, MMM, president and medical director, Accountable Healthcare Alliance in Michigan. In the video, Jackson discusses the components of an ACO Readiness Checklist: patient registry, patient care plans, transitional care plans, and data plans.
Jackson was a featured speaker at The Doctors Company’s recent 2012 Executive Advisory Board meeting, a forum where dynamic thought leaders explored topics of importance to modern medical practices in the evolving health care environment.
