The Doctors Company Named to 2009 Ward’s 50® Top Performing Companies
We are proud to announce that we have been named to the 2009 Ward’s 50 top performing insurance companies.
The Ward Group, a Cincinnati-based management consulting firm specializing in the insurance industry and the leading provider benchmarking and best practices services, analyzed the financial performance of over 3,000 property-casualty insurance companies based in the U.S.
“We are pleased that the Ward Group has recognized The Doctors Company’s safety, financial strength, and consistent performance,” said Richard E. Anderson, MD, FACP, chairman and CEO of The Doctors Company. “Given the current financial climate, this award is an affirmation of our conservative fiscal approach and years of conscientious investing. We are firmly positioned to provide the industry’s most aggressive claims defense and financially reward our physician members for their delivery of outstanding patient care.”
This year’s honor marks the eighth Ward’s 50 top performing companies award for The Doctors Company.
