      Enter Our 2006 Writing Contest

We invite you to share your story with us by entering our 2006 Writing Contest. You might want to write about a single experience that changed the way you practice medicine, a lesson you learned the hard way, something that inspired you, how you cope with stress in your practice, why you became a doctor, how you successfully dealt with a difficult situation, your best patient safety tip, or an example of what you’re doing right.

      Contest Rules

Our writing contest is open to all policyholders of The Doctors Company. Contestants may submit more than one entry. Entries must be the original work of the author and be previously unpublished. We will award three prizes, and each winner’s article will appear in a future issue of The Doctor’s Advocate. One grand prize winner, who will be chosen by our expert panel, will receive a $1,000 cash prize. We will also award $250 to each of our two runners-up.

      How to Enter

Please be sure to include your name, specialty, address, daytime phone number, and e-mail address. Entries should be typed and less than 1,200 words. Electronic copies should be submitted as Word files.
