FDA Warning Letter on Injection Lypolysis
On April 7, 2010, the FDA issued warning letters to six U.S.-based medical spas and a company in Brazil for making false or misleading statements about drugs they claim will eliminate fat in a procedure called “lipodissolve.” The drugs used in this procedure have not been evaluated or approved by the FDA.
